Who is Dr. Luke?
Luke R. Bucci, Ph.D., CCN, C(ASCP), CNS
Vice President of Research
As Vice President of Research for Schiff, Luke R. Bucci, Ph.D. is instrumental in Schiff's product development systems, guidelines and testing procedures and evaluations. Dr. Bucci heads a staff of degreed professionals, both internal and outside expert consultants.
Prior to joining Schiff in 1995, Dr. Bucci served as Director of Science and Quality at SpectraCell Laboratories Inc., in Houston, where he specialized in functional nutrient assessments. While working there, Dr. Bucci developed Spectrox, the first patented, commercially available test for total antioxidant function. Preceding SpectraCell Laboratories, Dr. Bucci formed InnerPath Nutrition, a clinical nutrition, nutritional consulting and educational company, which he still owns and directs.
Dr. Bucci holds several patents and patent applications on clinical laboratory testing methods and procedures for dietary supplements.
