Over-sulfated chondroitin sulfate, which does not occur naturally, is not a dietary supplement. It should not be confused with chondroitin sulfate, which is a natural ingredient that has undergone many clinical trials and has been used for many years in consumer-trusted joint care supplements such as those manufactured by Schiff®.
